After having left Rosenberg I decided to move to Boston to attend the Boston University School of Management, where I completed my bachelor’s degree with a focus on accounting in September 2014. Although I was always busy with school, I found time to travel, work and intern in fashion. Frankly, despite my busy schedule I never lost touch with my amazing Rosenberg friends. They visited me and I made sure to travel to see them.
I do not think that there is a single answer to that question. There were too many things that could be called “the best“. First of all, we were an amazing international community of students and teachers. I also very much enjoyed Rosenberg ball, ski days, yellow curry in the dining hall and the most beautiful view over St. Gallen from our school.
My current favourite city is New York. It is so energetic and inspiring. There is always so much to do and so much to see. It never lets you sleep and you can always order Chinese food, even at 4 am in the morning. If you do not believe me, ask Maral Sherkati!
I just moved back home to Saint–Petersburg, so I am exploring all these new places and choosing a new favourite spot. For now, I think it will be Big Wine Freaks. It is a very classy and chique wine tasting bar.
I am planning a trip to Tokyo this spring. I would love to see the blooming Sakura and visit some of my Japanese friends.
I would like to encourage current students to get involved with the school and accept and receive the many things it has to offer. Enjoy the sport activities, the ski days and above all Rosenberg Ball. Definitely take part in it and dance as many dances as possible.
I think the most inspiration comes from my mother. She is a very strong and powerful woman and I have a lot to learn from her. It is a blessing to be back home because I get to spend time with this wonderful woman.
My family, my friends and of course my cat Casanova.
Right now I am getting more and more involved in our family business. I enjoy learning from my parents and applying the knowledge I acquired in business school. However, I think in the future I will go back to school to pursue an MBA.
To learn to live is to learn to be happy. I am saying “learn“ because many people do not think they are happy and keep complaining but do not do anything to change their situation. If you are unhappy, either change your life or change your attitude towards it. I think happiness comes from enjoyment of things you do and have– your work, your family and your life. It is very important to wake up happy and smile – that is how I start every day.
